All Open House projects are quick, simple, and easy to accomplish unassisted.  I also like to keep prep work to a minimum, so I use full sheets of cardstock or prepackaged notecards.

More samples displayed at open house.  Baby and butterfly samples done on printer paper.  Snowflake is Navy Solid Color Paper with the snowflake wheel in white.

I used cardstock for this project at the openhouse because I had an abundance of US Vanilla cardstock.  I explained to my guests that the ideal paper for this type of project is our Background Paper, Solid Color Paper, or Designer Series Paper.  It is the perfect weight for the folding and punching and may already have a design, so you wouldn't even have to stamp it!  Cardstock is really just a little too heavy.  I also used printer paper, but the images on the outside tend to show through the paper on the inside window.

This project uses a full sheet of paper, folded in half lengthwise.  Then fold that in half and in quarters.  Open it up completely and punch Jumbo Square holes along the top row.  The punch fits perfectly between folds for spacing.
