Welcome to the Stampy Wackers TOO page. As a
member of my downline, my group, you are a member of the Stampy Wackers
TOO family. Let me explain the history behind the name.
Denise Waddell (my grandma in the Stampin' Up! family) questioned the
demonstrators in her downline as to a good
name for her downline or group. Many names were offered, someone
offered Wacky Stampers. She didn't particularly want to be a
wacky stamper, but switched it around to Stampy Wackers. I am in
Denise's downline, therefore I am one of the Stampy Wackers. When
it came time to choose a name for my own group of downline, I chose
Stampy Wackers TOO, since we, too, are a part of the Stampy Wackers.
Stampin'
Chat - On-Line
Meeting
Stampy Wackers TOO are spread out across the United States and in
Germany and England , so an on-line meeting in a chat room would
benefit all who can't attend Stampin' Time. Here is the place for
asking and answering questions on subjects you think are important to
your Stampin' Up! business. I will post meeting dates and times
here and include
them in my monthly Up!dates to you. Information here to get set up. Let me know if this is
something you are interested in and if you need any help getting set up.
September Chat:
Monday September 25, 9-10pm PST, 8:45-9p meet and greet.
Toot Your Horn Tuesday
Each
Tuesday, I invite you to share an accomplishment from the previous
week. Something *stamping related* that you are proud of,
something
that worked especially well at a workshop, high workshop sales,
interesting ways you've gotten bookings, etc, any activity toward
building your business (for some of us it is as simple as making
customer care calls, creating new samples, or organizing our
workspace!). Everyone who
"Toots"
will have their name entered into a drawing each week. Sometimes
we
just want to share something great that has happened and don't
quite know who to share it with. This will be your opportunity to
share it with all of us who can truly appreciate it. So . .
. . . get
ready to share every Tuesday. Do
something to
"Toot" about! Send your posts to the Stampy
Wackers TOO Yahoo Groups to be entered into the drawing. Use
"Toot" in the subject line. Use this link to join.

Stampin'
Time
The first hour of Stampin' Time is focused on Business Building topics,
ie. Workshop Outlines, Bookings, Recruiting, etc. Training will
be begin promptly at 10a, so arrive early! From 11a-1p,
we will be stamping Shoebox projects. Use only current SU!
images, paper and accessories, details below.
Bring your shoebox project (use only current SU! images, paper and
accessories, details below), camera, and lunch.
Children may accompany you (unless you don't want them
too!).
We will be making shoebox projects, stampin', and sharin' business
ideas. RSVP date - three days prior to
meeting.
Saturday, September 9, 10a-1p
Wednesday, October 4, 10a-1p
For my long distance downline, send card fronts (10 or more) for me to
swap with shoebox projects and technique page for you. You must
RSVP that you are sending card fronts. Swaps must arrive by RSVP
date or I will hold them until the next Stampin' Time. Send
several month's worth of swaps at a time!
Shoebox projects are: you design a project, usually a card front,
but doesn't have to be, make two identical samples. Bring the two
samples and all the supplies, paper, stamps, accessories for "x" number
of people to make the project, put it all in a shoebox, or any other
container that will
hold it all. Then at Stampin' Time, everyone gets to make
everyone else's projects. You'll be told the "x" number as the
date gets
closer and people confirm attendance. We put one sample in the
shoebox so people can copy it as they are making it. We put
the other sample on the wall with all the samples so we can see all the
projects available. If your project is a card, you need only bring
supplies for card fronts.
Manager's
Share
Manager's Share is a quarterly gathering of Demonstrators (Supervisors
and above) from all around this area, as far as Fremont, Tracy,
Stockton, Roseville and more, from all different Stampin' Up!
groups. This group is focused on growing our businesses and
supporting our downlines. Once you have promoted to Supervisor
and above, you are eligible to attend Manager's Share. The
meeting place rotates as Demonstrators volunteer to host the gathering.
Next Manager's Share, Sunday September 10.
I look forward to your joining this dynamic group!

Credit
Cards
Considering accepting Credit Cards for payment at your workshops? Here
is some information for you. There will be an expense
incurred by you to offer this service to your customers, but
I do feel in the long run, offering credit card service pays for itself
in higher order totals.
Quick
6x6 pages
This method is great for an event, trip, or common theme scrapbook or
set of pages.
These pages would be great in a gift album. I've been
demonstrating these at my workshops and my customers are lovin'
it!
Customers who don't scrap can see themselves scrappin' with this
method. Customers who do scrap love the simplicity. The 6x6
pages can always be layered onto larger pages if desired.
From three sheets of 12x12 cardstock, you can make twelve 6x6 pages:

Memory
Album in Minutes:
Samples of Album
from Vancouver BC Regional Seminar.
Class Outline:
Complete a
scrapbook in just three hours, even if you've never scrapped
before!!!
Registration fee for this class, pre-order:
1 - Stampin' Up!® Brag Book ($14.95),
1 - Simply
Scrappin'™ pack ($12.95), and
1 pack
8.5x11 cardstock ($6.95).
These items will be waiting for you at class.
Bring to the class:
Black ink pad (photo safe),
Journaling
marker (or use journaling station),
Adhesive (I recommend Hermafix® Transfer),
Paper cutter, and
Photos from one event or theme. Photos
should be 3-1/2x5 or 4x6.
At the class, you will use my alphabet stamps and my help to put together a memory album in minutes. I will have three journaling stations set up using Write Me a Memory™ Font CD offered in the new Stampin' Memories® Idea Book & Catalog, for completing your journaling. You really can put together a scrapbook in an evening. I'll teach you how. Brag Books have 25 non-removable page protectors resulting in 50 pages for pictures and journaling. I hosted this class when Stampin' Up! still offered the 5x7 brag books. You could easily adapt it to the 6x6 brag books we now offer.

Open
House
My definition of Open House is a
free event I invite all my customers and hostesses to attend. I
put on the invitation that I will have stamping packs available for
only those guests who RSVP (although I do make up a few extras!).
The projects are
quick,
simple, and easy to accomplish unassisted. I like to be available
to answer all sorts of questions, display the "big" projects I can't
bring with me to workshops (stamping on walls, furniture, velvet
stamping, 3D projects). I offer free shipping on any orders
placed during open house. This year I was able to put out all
my retired and soon to be retired stamp sets for guests to be able to
purchase. Income from the retired sets pays for the free shipping
I offered and gives me spending money for convention and new
stamps!
The stamping packs I have left over at the end of open house (because
of no-shows or extras), I can make up for swaps for convention!

Another Great Stampin' Up! Convention.
What is the best part of convention? Do I have to pick only
one?!!! Let's see, the friendships renewed once a year,
the Make and Takes, the display boards, 50% discount on stamps,
seeing the sites of the city we are visiting, the new catalog, the
business classes, FREE
STAMPS, the entertainment, the opportunity to talk to Shelli and
LaVonne, but not in
that order! It's so much more than just stampin' and yet it is
stampin' that brought me there the first time. Start putting
money
away each month now.
